Building Decision Making and Advocacy Skills with Madeline Webster, Family Navigator at St. Louis Arc and Christopher R.J. Worth, co-founder and lead consultant at It’s Worth Organizing, LLC

Our conversation will center on providing education and support to people of all abilities to understand their rights and responsibilities as citizens and how to find and participate in advocacy activities in our area. Madeline will share her work as an advisor to Self-Advocates of Indiana and her plans to organize advocates in St. Louis.

Chris will share his work organizing people with disabilities in grassroots advocacy in St. Louis and his experience as a disability advocate.
Chris holds degrees in fine art, has a vibrant art-making practice, and has been trained by nationally recognized organizers in the field of community organizing. He currently is pursuing a Master’s Degree in education, with an emphasis on curriculum development and social justice from the University of Missouri St. Louis. He brings more than twenty years of experience in community organizing, training, strategic planning, and mentoring.
